Help... i-appli or MIDP? |
MIDP is the original standard for mobile Java applications, set by Sun, and supported by major cell phone manufacturers like Nokia, Siemens, Sony-Ericsson and Motorola. MIDP applications are refered to as 'MIDlets'.
NTT DoCoMo came up with their own 'standard' called i-appli or DoJa. It is supported by 'true' i-mode devices, for example (in Europe):
To find out which standard is supported by your device, consult your manual, or just give it a try - if it will not download, then probably it is not supported!
